About humankind as portrayed by cognitive behaviour therapy

P. van Haute

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (cbt) interprets the workings of the human mind by analogy with the scientific method as defined by Popper. According to this interpretation, cbt turns the scientist and/or science into a model for mental health, but fails to recognize the symbolic nature of human existence.
