Hoarding; a case-report
The phenomenon of hoarding is discussed on the basis of a case description and relevant literature. According to dsm-iv criteria hoarding is classified within the spectrum of obsessive-compulsive Disorder (ocd). However, in contrast to ocd, hoarding is almost without exception egosyntonic and refractory to ssri treatment. Some authors report favorable results with neuroleptics.
