The life-chart methodology for manicdepressive illness

Manic-depressive illness has an often recurrent and highly variable course. Prophylaxis of episodes is the most important long-term treatment. The life-chart visualizes the effect of treatment and life-events on the course of the illness, and is a reliable tool in research.
