Case report
A temporary improvement in mood in a depressed patient after a spontaneous generalized epileptic seizure
The authors describe a 69-year-old male patient with a recurrent psychotic depression, who was referred for ect. Before the start of the treatment the patient suffered a generalized epileptic seizure which led to a dramatic improvement in mood symptoms lasting two weeks.
